BOYCOT ISRAEL

KVS is sinds 2007 actief in de Westbank als coördinator van PASS (Performing Arts Summer School). Samen met les ballets C de la B en Plek vzw zetten we een parcours van workshops uit met jonge Palestijnse podiumkunstenaars. Onze lokale partner is de A.M. Qattan Foundation, mecenas voor cultuur en onderwijs, die in Gaza het veelzijdige Centre for the Child uit de grond gestampt hebben. Tegen die achtergrond spreekt KVS zich uit tegen de vuile oorlog in Gaza, en roept op tot boycot, desinvestering en sancties tegen Israël.

BOYCOTT D’ISRAËL
Le KVS est actif en Cisjordanie depuis 2007, en tant que coordinateur de la PASS (Performing Arts Summer School). Avec les ballets C de la B et Plek vzw, nous mettons sur pied un parcours d’ateliers impliquant de jeunes artistes de scène palestiniens. Notre partenaire local est l’A.M. Qattan Foundation : cette organisation de mécénat pour la culture et l’enseignement a fondé le Centre for the Child à Gaza. Dans ce contexte, le KVS condamne la guerre dégoûtante menée à Gaza et invite à des actions de boycott, de désinvestissement et de sanction contre Israël.

BOYCOTT ISRAEL
The Royal Flemish Theatre (KVS) has since 2007 been active in the West Bank as a coordinator of PASS (Performing Arts Summer School). Together with Les Ballets C de la B and Plek vzw (a non-profit organisation devoted to theatre, literature and the arts), we conduct a series of workshops with young Palestinian performing artists. Our local partner is the A.M. Qattan Foundation, a patron of culture and education that established the multi-faceted Centre for the Child in Gaza. The Foundation is now calling for a boycott of, divestment from and sanctions against Israel.
